Our little boy is growing up! Eli turned 5 on Oct. 11 and we celebrated early so that Josh and his roommate from Korea, JaeWon, could celebrate with us. Eli received a real tool box from Grandma Gay and Grandpa Denny, and a skid steer from our family. JaeWon bought him some "Finding Nemo" fruit snacks, which were a real treat. We had just watched that movie a few evenings before, so all the little kids were thrilled to have real fruit snacks from the movie. (They taste better than the $1 ones I buy sometimes, too!)
Eli is such a smiley happy fellow. I took him along today to the eye doctor's office to get Isaac's glass frames fixed. He giggled and amused himself for several minutes with a mirror on the table. He was very sweet to watch. He's learning lots of Bible verses in school, and he is starting to learn the names of letters. We thank God for Eli!
