We are having a wonderful Christmas together. As you can see from the slideshow, everyone is having a good time. Note that in the photo with Josh and Laura, that Josh is using his new harmonica holder. He tried to play harmonica and guitar at the same time, but after a while, he said it was too much work for Christmas day, since we're supposed to be relaxing! So he will have to work more on that.
After we opened our gifts this morning, the place was pretty peaceful as everyone was either reading their new books, putting together their new Lego sets, playing with their new little Polly dollies, or playing piano. We decided to celebrate the birth of Christ by eating our favorite Thai food all day. For lunch, we had "Kaw Tome" which is rice soup with pork and cilantro. For supper we are having Masaman curry and chicken nuggets with sticky rice. Delicious! We also have pineapple and clementines, for tropical fruit.
Next week we are driving to MN where they are blessed with over 2 feet of snow. We're dreaming of a White Week After Christmas! Now that I have Josh to help me get photos from the camara to the computer, you can look for more regular posting in the future. God bless you all in 2011!
