Mother's Ring and 2nd honeymoon

For our 20th anniversary, Dale wanted to get me a Mother's Ring.  So here it is!  Our children's birthdays are in pairs, so the ring is symmetrical  (quite in line with Dale's math personality!)  Josh and Coretta are the light blue (March), Laura and Isaac are purple (Feb.) and Sarah and Anna are red (July.)  Eli is in the middle with pink (Oct.)  It was fun picking it out and even more fun to wear!
Dale and I are going to the Aspen, Colorado area next week for a 5 day retreat for Lutheran pastors and wives called Grace Place.  We'll have interesting sessions in the morning and evening, and will be spending the afternoons hiking, rafting, biking, relaxing, swimming, etc.  This is the longest we've been away since our honeymoon.  We're so grateful to Grandma Gay (Dale's mom) for coming to watch the children while we're gone.
