Family garden in the backyard

The kids are having such a great time in our garden. Here are some pics of them all working together with their dad to plant it. It warmed my mother's heart to see them enjoying being together. They planted potatoes, lettuce, radishes, tomatoes, sweet corn, squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, and probably more that I can't remember. Vegies grow fast down here in southern Nebraska, and we've already been eating radishes and lettuce. This cool weather has been strange, but the garden is doing well anyway. We thank God for giving us such a rich and full family life....and for a big backyard with plenty of room for a garden! (and a tire swing...and a tree fort.....why don't you come and visit us and you can see it all?)
